BX Fonts are in a special format to work with Embrilliance software. Embrilliance offers a free version (Express mode) that allows you to use the BX fonts in a keyboard style (vs merging one letter at a time) and can also make adjustments to the layout using the spacing of the lettering tool as well as curve the text. With the Paid version of Embrilliance you can resize fonts with stitch recalculation, add lettering in Multi-Line, Monogram and Circle modes, and so much more.
