I started doing Registry Diapers several years ago. I simply went to the local Childrens Boutiques with samples as pictured. I chose one color work so the diapers would stitch very fast. At the bottom of each diaper I embroider "Congrats" along with the "Boutique name". I use the footprints a lot as I think they are perfect for new babies.
The Boutiques give out these cute little burps as a "Thank You Gift" to the customers who use the Boutique Baby Registry.
Things to remember:
Doctors are very busy so mailing samples are the best
Keep the design very simple because time is money. The less stitch time and color changes, the more money you make.
On the sample include the Boutique Name. Everyone likes to see things personalized.
Do Not use thin/ cheap diapers. Use Quality Diapers
The average diaper costs only about $1.00 so make some money but do not overcharge.
Do not visit more Boutiques then you are able to keep up with.
By using the same designs, the diapers can be made in advance without a name, when you get an order simply add the Boutique name to the diaper.
I hope this inspires some to visit the local Boutiques in your area. I have told many about this and they have raved about the extra money they are able to earn.
